That is what I was thinking too!  It gives it more a tropical exotic look, lol!  Now we have three distinct feather palms, Jubaea, Butia, Mules, And each one has its own tropical feel.  Chamaedorea radicalis as understory palm evens it all out.

Yup! Some pics above

Lovely!  And good sized, pinnate already!  Trick will be to see if they're truly hardy in the Pacific NW west of the Cascades.  Hopefully they grow quickly too!   Keep us posted as time goes on..this winter probably won't be a test as you'll protect them.  I may have to get one.

When I planted mine back in early Sept. they grew some by the end of Oct.  Mine is smaller but has all pinnate leaves.  I have no doubt they will be fast growers. What got me was the solid green leaves.

You guys are making me feel left out.  I might have some holes in the landscape after this cold so some space could open up.

I was amazed, The strap leaves are very large and so vibrant green. These are the biggest strap leaves of any of my palms by far.  Even The BxQ is much smaller. The BxPJT may beat it, but it’s still little, but much taller than the others of its age.
