Butia Eriospatha frond types

I have a question regarding frond types of Eriospatha.

From the habitat pics it would seem the population is looking pretty consistent with full recurved fronds. These are to my knowledge regular eriospatha's as can be seen in cultivation in Brasilian gardens.

Eriospatha in cultivation in Europe can look very different like this one in France.

Could the softer fronds be climate related or are these softer fronds normal in certain populations in habitat (unknown to me)?

In the botanical garden in Lisbon the eriospatha on the left displays the classic type fronds and the one on the right has the finer leaflets. So maybe it's not a result of growing conditions.

They differ quite a bit, I doubt there are any "pure" types left in cultivation.

Thanks, some very nice Butias'. Aren't these mostly odorata/capitata though?

Perhaps with exception to the first one, it has a flower stalk but its difficult to see whether it has the dark tomentum.

Like I said, I doubt any are a pure type. Here in the south, the only palms that out number butia are the native sabals. Butia are like weeds here.

Yes but eriospatha is different as its rare compared to odorata and 99 percent of the eriospathas in brasilian frontgardens all look the same like the ones in habitat. Its not a highly variable palm like odorata.
