Hi I chose this trachycarpus on webcam video as palm nursery closed, concerned whether to buy or not as not sure on rootball as I always bought plants with pot bound rootball. I asked the man and he said it got good roots.

The palm looks healthy by flowering.

What you think

Looks like it was field grown and recently dug up and potted. It will like go through a period of stress before starting to grow again.

Thanks Jim I might cancel it lol, I choose my plant depending on the rootball size, but I knew there was something about this one, now I don't know what to say to the shop though lol

Definitely this has been dug up recently. Otherwise you wouldn't see all those roots.
