Only male flowers in the inflorescence, this can happen at the first flowering.

Congratulations!

Lakeland, FLUSDA Zone 2023: 10a  2012: 9b  1990: 9a | Record Low: 20F/-6.67C (Jan. 1985, Dec.1962)

Nice!!

Those are touchy here.

I am going to plant one in the next week.

How much sun does it get?

How long has it been in ground?

How big was it when you planted it?

How cold does it get there?

Sorry so many questions....

Thanks!

- TomJ,

the palm is 21 years old and has been on the ground, in full sun, since 2005. In the last 30 years only twice a station alone in the city has recorded negative temperatures (-4 and -5 °C).

Regards,

Pietro Puccio

You really have many treasure plants there!

Congratulations

Another grower in Rhodos island gets his Dictyospma rubrum for the first time blooming.

Cannot believe that I missed this!
