ID tags/labels

So with many of us on here with nice and expanding collection of palms, some of which have been expensive, it would nice/good to keep records. Can anyone recommend a quality and reasonably priced source of custom engraved plant ID tags, thanks in advance.

I am using the cheap waterproof PVC garden labels. I have some in the ground for more than 3 years and they work fine for me. I also have a ton of plants & trees I like to mark down (a few hundred now...) so I need a lot. Animals sometimes bury them unintentionally but they are easily replaced. No problem as they are dirt cheap (about $8 on amazon for 100 pieces).  This works best for my situation.

I cut up an aluminum beer / soda / seltzer can with a pair of scissors, punch a hole with a nail and write (emboss) on it with a ballpoint pen; the aluminum is soft enough that the pen makes a clear impression. It lasts forever and doesn't cost anything.

This is, of course, an identification tag and not a display label, if that's what you're looking for.

Well this is a true sense of recycling. May try this as my collection is getting bigger and plastic label tags don't last at all. Thanks for the idea =)

Most of my tags usually get mangled, lawnmower accidents.  The nice engraved ones can run $5 per tag/label, then you need a stake to display them on.  But they do look really no nice. Maybe these could be items bought from the IPS store, although the number of palms is vast, but I would imagine a lot could be produced in bulk making them cheap.
