Heterospathe Scitula? Or else?

Good morning,

Does anyone grow H.Scitula? If yes can you tell me if that is one please?

The location is Philippines and the vendor had no clue what they sold.

It doesnt flower yet, and the vendor said it cluster.

Try looking it up on Palmpedia the description there says it does cluster and the palm looks to  be the same as yours . The site also shows juveniles exhibiting a red leaf when newly opened

Yes i did, it look similar too except the red young leaf but hard to be sure with guess, and my english isnt good enough for this technical description.

I don't know what it is but I like the little guy. It appears solitary. Can you see evidence of additional stems?

No help with an ID, but that is one cool, elegant, little palm. The Heterospathe in my garden are relatively slow growers, so that little guy

might have more than just a few years on it.

I don’t see any evidence of additional stem, i just trust what the vendor said.

I might have to wait until it flower but you are right, very slow grower.
