Can you get a couple more pictures closeup including the crown and newest spear?

Gadzooks!  That almost looks like a dog or a small bear decided to make a nest in the middle!  Are there any bent or broken fronds?

Nothing wrong with it, you planted it way to close to the house & it's reaching for space & better light.

How often do you water and/or you got rain?

Which side of the hose is it planted on? If it is not on the south side it is probably not getting enough sunlight. Long skinny fronds suggest it is reaching out for sun.

Its on the south side. Th fence is blocking the west. So it gets sun from sunrise til after noon!
