this group was leaving to play in amsterdam the next day.they were pretty excited.

wayan came to pick us up as pre-arranged at the end of the ceremony.he is overly punctual.

i went back to ubud that day but enjula stayed to record a gamelan perfomance.you can see some clothes

we gave away in the 2 photos above.wayans t-shirt says "balboa park".they love shirts from america so we always bring some to give them.

the guy on the left ALWAYS looks stoned.

Dear Paul  

in one of your stills i did notice that the caution sign board

as written using english language but the content was in

indonesian language.

are the locals thought language in the schools in that fashion.

since thailand,malayasia,burma,Srilanka do have their own script and the sign boards are all in that language.

have you noticed what i said ? do the entire Archepalago of islands do they have a common language or every main island's religion & languages differ ?

kris i believe they all speak the official indonesian language(called "bahasa indonesia"),but at times use their local dialects.

Paul seems to be a comfortable dresser. Whether it's Capri pants, or partying the night away with the "BaliBoys" in a skirt, he's making that statement, and looking good doing it.

i couldn't have attended these ceremonies without wearing a sarong,but i do love the freedom

shopping in the ubud market.these merchants can strip the flesh off a water buffalo down to the bare bones in 3 minutes.

i was so incredibly bored that i didn't mind enjula taking

pictures which could be used to blackmail me later.

the hotel staff made special flower decorations on our bed each day.

we walked up the road to a restaurant called "naughty

nury's",which is partly owned by westerners & is famous for grilling hamburgers & steaks on the front porch.this is the bar made out of coconut palm wood.
