Passing by this guy in the garden, you want to look 'down', not 'at' the spectacular leaves.

Been the most hardy Joey in my garden anyway, performing way better than J. altifrons or J. perakensis.

A few photos....... a close-up, one with a shovel for scale, and one of the whitish underside of the leaf.

I need more of these. I need more of a lot of things.

Lovely specimen Tim...I know these grow here, but finding them is another story!

Gold Coast, Queensland Latitude 28S. Mild, Humid Subtropical climate. Rainfall - not consistent enough!

Your garden is magical that way -- just another perfect specimen!

I'm jealous. My plant is a little scruffy looking at present, but it is alive. Big win!

Thanks Jeff, do these grow well in So. Fla.?

Len, give it a few years......you might be able to grow it. :36_14_15[1]:

Daryl, you mean that ole Michael in Tully doesn't have a couple extra?

Kim, now that things have settled down a bit, it may get it's groove on.

John, I think these are available on island. I'm sure you have plenty of room in your new garden.

Basically only in a pot. They do well, very slow of course but just don't seem to like it when their planted out.
