Bill, this is more than impressive, especially considering its ultra rareness. The moment when you were lucky to get them was Karma. 🙂
Have shopped 3 different kinds of seeds last week, at RPS (Tobias Spanner). Great seller btw.
Saw a recommended palm which I would not buy regulary but ... look at this picture on his website -->

Within seconds it was clear to me, this is a must have. Its a Chambeyronia houailouensis

Have seen there also a Chambeyronia macrocarpa 'Watermelon'  - amazing and beautiful. Does anyone have it?

I have two Houailou and numerous macrocarpa. They look similar but Houailou have stiffer, more arching leaves. Macrocarpa leaves are more relaxed. Leaves on both are thick and leathery. The red new leaves on my larger Houailou are not as intensely red as macrocarpa's, Macrocarpa, and I venture, Houailou seeds germinate easily and seedlings are fairly robust. Be sure to plant them singly (seeds are large) in deep pots in well draining, loose mix.

No interest in selling mine, but was just looking at my old messages and realized as of yesterday, I've had these FOUR YEARS. Not fast, but steady and I'm ok with that. I'm getting to be that way myself... :floor: Pics taken just now.
