NC_Palms
Looks like my predictions for this winter were correct. Greenville is projected to get 1” to 3” inches, which is about our yearly snowfall averages in a just a few hours. At least the air temperature will be above freezing so I doubt anything will accumulate. Zone 8a Greenville, NC Zone 8b/9a Bluffton, SC
PalmTreeDude
We are getting 5 - 8 inches, the low for the event is 27°F, which is something we have already had here. PalmTreeDude

They are saying the coldest it will get here is 35°F but because my entire property is within a microclimate it usually stays a few degrees warmer. bubba
Now they are naming "winter storms"? There will not be enough names left for Hurricanes! What you look for is what is looking

PalmTreeDude
Any yellowing or brown parts on the fronds were already there from the summer. It is 30 right now. The little one is a small Butia that was stepped on multiple times by little kids and dogs, this Spring I am digging it up, or if we have a warm day. 1 PalmTreeDude

The snow is a good insulator for them. They should be fine Zone 8a Greenville, NC Zone 8b/9a Bluffton, SC
NC_Palms
Here we didn’t have too much snow, just a lot of ice and rain. I am guessing that whatever landed melted pretty quick because of the rain and above freezing temperatures.
