Trachycarpus martianus is the most cold sensitive. It is for USDA 9b. Trachycarpus latisectus is more cold hardy than martianus, but less cold hardy than other species. Both martianus and latisectus grow very well even in tropical climate. The most cold hardy are Trachycarpus fortunei and wagnerianus. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
