Beautiful Indoor Chamaedorea ernesti-augusti

Featured Replies

Maybe my apartment style living dictates it, but I love potted palms and just can't get enough indoor plants.

It's such a gift to have them flowering and am so surprised by how wonderful they smell!

Hope you enjoy.

What a beauty!

Naples (inland), FL - technically 10a but more like 9b in the winter :hmm:

A real beauty. I too love palms in pots as I cannot grow them outside all year.

Very nice! I have one seedling of this species. Hope to get it to that size and flowering one day.

Hopefully the little one will be a male.

You will know in a few years.

Thanks for the replies everyone! Can't wait to see the other plant flower in the coming years. Show off your biggest and baddest indoor palms! I'd love to see.

Similar to your 'ernie' here is my metalica. A bit older though.

My indoor palm growing skills may approach yours, but my photographic skills certainly do not.
