Caribbean Island Creation

Featured Replies

Planted a Hemi today, in a decision to create a Caribbean island landscape feature. I still need to mulch and add a few groundcover plants, but I am already proud of it.

nice!

Carlsbad, California Zone 10 B on the hill (402 ft. elevation)

Sunset zone 24

Looks great. That old man looks super healthy too.

Nice! so many options with that region and your climate. I am doing a Andean High altitude section close to my front door but I only have Parajubaea sunkah :D. If only I could get a Ceroxylon to grow that would take the cold and the heat.

Coastal Zone 9a

Thanks, everyone. I forgot to mention the species; 2 Coccothrinax macroglossa (one small and another very large), Coccothrinax gracilis, Coccothrinax crinita, Coccothrinax borhidiana and an unknown Copernicia.
