Justin, thanks for the photos, especially Derek's Corypha.

I'm still impressed at how well the Searle yard and nursery have recovered from hurricane Wilma.  It was a weird storm that came from the southwest, so winds were higher in the inland parts of Broward and Palm Beach counties than at the beaches, so the maximum sustained wind for Palm Beach airport of 71 knots and Fort Lauderdale at 61 probably doesn't reflect the situation in southwest Broward.

Kris-

Jeff Searle is in most of the pictures with a white button up shirt on and a small white beard.

Ryan is in ONLY that picture in post #20. He is the one in the black tee shirt with a camera hanging around his neck, just to the left of the statue.

Hope that clears that up.

Sorry Kris, since Jeff is the ONLY one in the pictures with a button up shirt, I thought it was pretty clear.  Jeff is ALSO wearing a camaflouge hat  too.

Ryan is RARELY seen in photos here on the board. I would say I've seen less than 10 pictures with him in the shot.

Hello Kris,

Sean Connery, I wish! :D  But he is alot older than me. But thanks. Anyways, I'll try to clear up who's who.Go to post #16, I ( Jeff) am sitting on the far right, camo hat, white shirt and the white beard. In post #30, again with the camo hat on with blue shorts. In post #20, this is the only picture with Ryan in it. He is standing off to the far right, with a black shirt on.Hope this clears up who's Sean Connery( :D ), and who Ryan is. Talk to you soon,

Jesus christ_ Boy you look dashing & preety macho.

seeing your icon or avatar i thought you are a very

old person and in gun possesion thread, you mentioned

about your grand ghildren.so i thought you are very

old.

sorry for asking so many questions who is jeff ? but

seriously always when your face was seen i did

comment its very similar to 007 sean(not the present

sean conery)and iam not bluffing so and see all the post

under the name palmrum(Ryan).when i saw that face i

would have said wow_007....go and refer it.

but that is a real mix up and iam shure 90% of our members who do not know you personally will also

think as i used to think....!

Jeff you look great but should reduce some weight, less

of deep fried foods & beer.and i used to imagine you as

a very sober & non fun loving person, who never wished

to be seen in front of the camera.

And Dear Bill thanks for the efforts.it seems that i have

lots and lots of terrefic friends here.since you were the

first to respond to my geninune doubt.as to who is who ?

thanks friends,

Lots of love to you all, that would include even my friend

ryan who's tips & tricks regarding photography is praise

worthy..

Bill,

yes, that is a dypsis "slick willie" as seen in Ralph Valez's front yard, as well as other long-time collector's yards here in Socal.

jeff also has some intriguing Dypsis albofarinosa in his yard that he thought were Dypsis oreophylla (and so did I).

jeff also had a standard D. onilahensis "upright" in the ground for comparison with the others.  his beccariophoenix were mind-blowing!!!  i especially likes seeing those as we don't have any trunking in Socal.

glad you enjoyed the tour kris.
