Dear Friends,

Our friend DavefromSocal,i.e DoomsDave had sent me fresh seeds of Brahea Armata x Brahea Brandegeei(hybrid palm)seeds as gift a month ago.I have taken stills and videos of that palm's seed germination process.Of those seeds one had germinated in less than a months time.More of that in the following posts.

Dave thanks very much for those super fresh seeds.

Lots of love,

Kris.

Now lets see the one that has germinated in less than one month time,BTW the seeds were kept in room temperature and it was around 27degrees centigrade to 25 degrees centigrade indoor.i.e the temperature of the room in which those seeds were place. And we are in our winter season with cool, wet and high humidity.this season will remain up the month of February first week. After that our summer season begins.

Now i have a question ? that is if you see the last still, you can see a long spear...should we bury it allowing only the green sprout area visible..This is the first time iam seeing like this.Usually roots are long but the spear shaft is short.

As for the long plumule: I guess the seedling was too long time in the dark. — And in the pot I would add a little bit more soil on the top.
