Does anyone have before and after pics of their Washingtonia growing? It is interesting to see their growth after years.

    I do not have a before picture, but this is three years growth (~6' of trunk) from a volunteer seed.   Do not plant palms, especially Washingtonia near a septic tank!  Roots got down through the clean-out lid and had unlimited water and fertilizer (and clogged the inlet).

    Fort Worth Texas. Washingtonia hybrid purchased from Home Depot. The secret: WATER. I lived here my senior year of college and the house had no gutters so water would flood around it and it absolutely took off over winter and the one year time lapse is amazing

    I watered mine three times a week during the summer and it tripled in size by the end of the growing season ('21)!

    Washingtonia don't need a time lapse in warm climates, you can just sit and watch it rocket up.

    Corpus Christi, TX, near salt water, zone 9b/10a! Except when it isn't and everything gets nuked.

    Just under 11 years growth Washingtonia robusta in Austin, TX. There have been a lot of cold and wet winters in past decade as well as drought so this time lapse has not been under ideal conditions
