Good observation . The Lytocaryum insigne up I had won Plantarum Institute ( Harry Lorenzi ), unfortunately not plant this to me more. It is doubt.

 Mauricio, your "baby" plant is looking very good.  Congratulations!  I have a few seeds but none have germinated yet unfortunately.

The good news is that the other five seedlings (i.e. 50%) are healthy: N°1601-03 are growing their 2nd plumule, N°1604-05 still their 1st.

The first three leaves (or so) will be entire, as the pic of Caixeta’s baby shows. But I’ll post another photo, when the eophyll has grown a bit more. — The seedling N°1606 is glassy  and didn’t move since 1st June. And the other 3 seeds are still sleeping  or …

Took me a while to spot it

These are the seeds which haven’t germinated yet after 72 days resp. 151 days: three from 2016-03-29 and one I got earlier on 2016-01-10. The seedlings N°1601-03 are showing the eophyll, N°1604-05 only the 2nd plumule, and N°1606 doesn’t grow any more.

An update from 1st baby N°1601; the growth is gigantic:

Very nice selection Pal! I see we have a very similar interest in palm species.

Be aware of spider mites for the tuerckheimii's. I finally got rid of mites on my own tuercks, but some leaves are damaged and it will take some time for them to look their best again.

Oh, and I thought the five Lyto babies could grow safely, being protected under the canopy of the Ch tuerckheimii …

Yeah, it has already a trunk, but you can’t see it because L itapebi’s stems are subterranean.
