When User00 and I met in January in Peradeniya Royal Botanic Gardens (first Palmtalk PRA there) we enjoyed this exceptional place and User00 told me about beetle attacks issues on Lodoicea.

User00,

Much more happy news would be that you got 10 of these nuts to plant in your garden… but still we hope :)

Did I already explain that the first Plant of the Lodoicea avenue in Peradeniya botanic gardens have been sown in situ in 1903 at a time there was a male in Peradeniya and a female in Henarathgoda garden, as H.F  Macmillan explains in "Tropical gardening and planting" ?
