Greetings from Koreadefault_biggrin.png(Also, sorry for grammer mistakes!)

Recently I found some dehusked  coconuts(above pictures) in local supermarket.

Some of them are big and full of water( when you shake it), but their endocarps are so white.. So they don't look like brown coconuts which most of people try for germination.

I don't know if they are mature enough for germination. Maybe they are mature but just dehusked too much..

The coconuts are from Vietnam, and they were stored in room temperature. (Although I don't know whether these coconuts were exposed to cold temperature during shipping)

Should I try germination with these?

Only one way to find out. They look mature enough to me, just make sure you choose one full of water and without any cracks in it. Good luck.

They look good and viable.  As long as they haven't been refrigerated for too long or radiated, they should sprout.

No, they should be fine.  There are many different varieties of coconut palms with many different sizes and color of coconuts.  Try soaking the nut in a clean bucket of water for about 3 or 4 days.  This will usually help the nuts sprout a little sooner.

Likely, you got the Big Green or Big Flame Coconut . Big Flame Coconut is the one has yellow/orange husk . Vietnamese call it Dua Lua.  These big coconut varieties somewhat have less sweet juice ,than the small size nut varieties ( Dua Xiem ). Wed search Dua Xiem, you will see what it look like.  That is why they just let the big  varieties  grown to mature nuts  and use it for cooking.

Green, yellow/orange husk most of the time it all will turn to like dark brown ( last picture ) when fully grown mature nut. Brown mature coconut is good for growing. Not many people would pick the white mature coconut ( first pictures ) to grow. You may have a harder time to sprout it .  Shop around , you may find the brown one at other supermarket.  If not , then just use that you can get. Who know , you could be one of a few people can sprout a not fully mature coconut.  Have fund with your project and let us know what happen.

When the coconut is viable and in adequate conditions, it can be fairly fast and take between 2 to 3 weeks in my experience. I sprouted this one last fall. (the picture is after 3 weeks of growth). I lost it a little after ... gotta try again!
good luck! and keep us posted :)
