Just the name alone almost made me want a couple of these and they were the 'latest and greatest' a few yeas back. So,

how are yours doing?

Mine have been plodding along, and while not slow, show steady growth and are quite beautiful.

Of the two, one was and is much larger than the second, but the second one is still holding entire leaves. The first one has almost always

showed the divided leaves at the terminal end. Pretty much pest free, semi shade, love lots of water and good drainage which is no surprise.

Here are a few photos, big tanga #1 taken over a short period of time while the new left was opening.

Here's little tanga #2 with the entire leaves. Much smaller, but actually starting to show some nice growth. At one point I thought it was going to be one of those

palms that would stay puny and slowly wither away.
