Calylptrocalyx albertisianus, new leaf, this guy is ready to hit the dirt, good grower. 

Those A. oxycarpa's are such cool little palms, great color and habit.

 Totally agree.  I have to grow them in an indoor atrium so the tiny stature is a huge plus for me as they will never hit the ceiling. 

 

Very common but I like the colors on this dypsis lutescens. Still no clustering.

I have this small Archontophoenix that very often makes a colorful new frond. It was labeled as Alexandrae when I bought it.

It's the red form from PNG. It was introduced by Maria Boggs and so named Marie.

The color is highly variable as the old leaves drop off. Sometimes the red is barely discernable and a few weeks later that same palm gets super red like this. It keeps you going back for more like waiting for the chambeyronia macrocarpa to open it's new leaf.

Sadly, post photo emerging leaves have not shown color. Don't think its a hybrid. Picked it up at Paradise Plants in Hilo. They are not known as a specialty palm nursery that would carry something unusual like a hybrid C. renda. It was one of several C. renda that they were selling and the only one with reddish emerging leaf.

Cool, I just heard of the “Marie” variant recently.  My regular A. macros are about 5 ft to the top of the spear and are  just starting to show some color on the new leaf bases.

Looks nice. Is that an enclosed atrium? What else do you have growing there? Pan right a bit with that camera and show some more plants, if you don't mind. It look really protected and I'm guessing you have some more gems in there.

Beautiful.  I think it actually looks better with a red rachis and green leaflets than an entire red leaf.

You guessed right about the enclosed atrium, 11b oasis in my 9b world Texas world.  I’m open to suggestions as to what to plant but it has to be able to take some sun in the remaining spots. The above Areca is to the far left, next is L. grandis, another A. macro., and a Hydriastele beguinii.

If you don’t have a palm problem I envy you because most of us here are unrepentant palm nuts.

Got some interesting color on my Phoenix sylvestris to show - taken yesterday on Christmas eve.

This plant`s green sticks somehow out - compared to my other plants... I thought why not showing.
