Lodoicea Maldivica are spread out throughout a lot of the island. This one was in the parking lot of a beach on the northern tip of the island:

Well, that's it for the palm photos of our week in the Seychelles. It was an amazing week in a beautiful place and we feel very fortunate and blessed to have been able to make the trip there.

Here are a few closing photos, this first one is where we had breakfast each day. Not a bad setting!

And beach photos seem like a necessity when talking about the Seychelles! Thanks for looking.

Seriously that's the trip of a lifetime! I guess I'll have to get my passport and go there. Those beaches are beautiful. Once again thanks for sharing these fantastic photos.

It was an unreal place to be. We thought we were in a dream, hah! I'd recommend anyone to go if they ever get the opportunity!

Wow, what an adventure Jason. I did not think the Lodoicea got that stretchered of petiole. Fantastic pics! This has to be one of the top threads. Thanks for taking us with you for the ride.

After 3 nights on Mahe, we headed over to the island of Praslin for our final 4 nights on the Seychelles. Standing at the airport (on the coast) and looking back at the granite cliffs of Mahe:

Then we boarded this small plane for the 28 mile flight over to Praslin

This double coconut fountain is at the Praslin airport

We arrived at our hotel on the east coast of Praslin on Cote d'Or Beach and this was the view from our room
