Those look cool! I really like the one on post #13.

I've been buying crotons since February. I came home with like 5 different types from Walmart right now. I'm really hoping that they will make it long term here. I've never seen big established croton plants here before but I have seen some real nice TI's plants. Do you know if they are similar as in the kind of temperatures they can handle.

I told my wife I need to go to Walmart with her more often. They seem to always have a good variety of plants. I almost bought some pretty big crotons from their 50% discounted section.

They're awesome! I love the red one. I'm really liking the yellow and orange colors on some of them too. Do you have any pictures of the yard? Looks like they are growing next to a ficus hedge.

Are these crotons? Are they different?

You are getting very crotonesque, Ron!

I thought by now you would have all of these and more!

John - I have quite a few, but this garden in Plantation, FL has a superior collection. I've gone crotonesque due to being nearly planted out. Just under story Chamaedoreas, licualas and crotons are getting added now. Gotta keep pruning the fruit trees to allow some light to penetrate or stuff starts to stretch. I am but one of a few long time Palm hobbyist that now have crotons growing beneath their palm canopy.

Trying them out myself in a courtyard where they will get about 3-4 hours of sun.....so far, so good......my faves are Picasso's Paintbrush and Zanzibar.

John - Those are sun loving crotons for sure. The thin leaved crotons typically are not as cold hardy. They drop their leaves but usually can recover experiencing short rounds in the 40's F. The courtyard should give nice protection and added warmth.
