As this was my first meeting, I really enjoyed it. Lots of great palms, cycads & bamboo. But also meeting alot of great people was really a pleasure. I can't wait till the next one :)

It was nice to meet you.

That reclinata was amazing. I've never seen one that had so many trunks running and curling along the ground. Some of those trunks were 45 feet long. You can plainly see it in your photos.

You didn't happen to get a shot of the silver leafed Jubaea chilensis, did you?

Ashton - It was great to meet you too. The Jubaea chilensis is the trunk that Bill is hugging. That's the most of it that I have. It was a beauty though. And you're right about that Reclinata. Wasn't that amazing to see?

and in your stills i could recognise most of the naughty Boyz of our forum,that would certainly include our Bill.. :D

But where are you in those stills, we all wish to see you standing near a cycas or a palm.and dont tell me your camera

shy... :)

and those tall bamboo's are like watching some chinese

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.
