Should I post the CRDB info on the freeze data collection board?  I think it might be useful, but it also might  be misleading because not all of what is posted on CRDB is probably accurate.  Any suggestions, I mean, I don't want to post what people consider to be useless.

Jimbean,

Please go ahead and post that info right here. That way I can get a look at it first, and then move it to the appropriate place.

I will shortly be splitting the FAQ section into "Palm FAQs" and "Forum FAQs." I'm thinking the CRDB info could go into "Palm FAQs."

Please preface it with what you indicated, sort of a disclaimer. Namely, that all info may not be accurate. Maybe some background on where the info came from, etc.

Thanks,

Dean

Thanks to those of you who help make this a fun and friendly forum.

Whilst I have not gone thro the CRDB in complete detail I do think it is useful and as reasonably accurate as anything can be.

At least they dont say a Queen needs a minimum of 18C which is stated clearly in a volume by none other than the Royal Horticultural Soviety!

No wonder palms never get Gold Medals at Chelsea except in just one instance. Maybe the judges had taken a refreshment or three earlier.

Dont know whether to laugh or cry but we are used to that stupidity here in the UK and Im not alone in watching the "gardening" programmes just to wait for the usual idiots.

One so called expert has a sideline writing what he calls "romantic novels" ie pornography and the rest are no better.

Does say Dr John Dransfield or Martin Gibbons get invited on from time to time?

No prizes!

I keep getting this banner coming up when I click on the link to the CRDB site:-

"The website you have requested has exceeded its daily CGI quota of 1000 executions, and has been temporarily deactivated"

Is there a new link for this site? As the site has NOT been available to me now for several months.

I assume it still works for you guys States Side but here in UK I can no longer get access to it???

Any Ideas guys?

Regards Andy. :(
