Paul,

Are they A. vestiaria 'Maroon'? or normal vestiaria? How old are they?

I planted seedlings last august, I am looking forward but must wait.

regards

So, the timing on these two C. hookeri are off by just a week. One of these days they will pop a new leaf at the same time.

The one has more of an intense color though, so here are a few pics. One from below and one from above.

Looking great Tim, I love the red from the C. hookeri, how old is your hookeri?

Aloha Paul, I planted these in April of 2010 from 5 gal. pots, so almost 4 years old. They've been growing pretty fast and I love the color of the trunk.

Just went outside to water the plants and noticed my kentiopsis pyriformis opening a new leaf, Its the first leaf open for me since getting it about a month ago, I suspect it will be quite some time before I see another bit of red from this little guy
