I took these pictures today around LA City Hall where I work. The fishtail palms are huge but I think they are planted too close to the wall. The forest of king palms is gorgeous with tables and chairs on the plaza level. If you notice there is a single fishtail palm amongst the kings and the tree ferns. The plants are around City Hall East and City Hall South, if you look in the background of one of the pictures you can see City Hall Main.

Dave, nice to meet another downtown employee. The City offices on Figueroa Street (201 and 221) has about 7 bismarkia's in the plaza, quite dramatic, I'll take pictures next time.
