Chamby's have come back nicely since the last pic earlier in this thread, we had some super hot days this summer as well with zero burn, looks like they have toughened up a lot.

Very generous offers Pete!! I'm pretty keen to keep both but out of curiosity are you talking about 75L palm or 250mm to it's right?

Ben, I only see 1 and its in 75ltr, is that a manajarenis to our left, I dont know what the palm to the right is

The palm to the right is bejoufo..... The names are very confusing but an entirely different palm than the 75L job. As far as I am aware the bejoufo is rarer and slower than the bejouf/a. I thought that it might be the palm that caught your keen eye

So your keen then ? :)

Sleep on it Ben, "NO" hassles what so ever, I totally understand, its just an idea, 1 palm quickly repaces anoyther, I will read you r thoght 2 morrrow. good nt, Im still on the old daylight sav time :)

Sorry Pete, your offer is very tempting but being a dypsis tragic I need both of these! I was just curious as which one it was that caught your eye. They would be happier in the ground but I will keep potting / bagging them up as long as required to keep them happy! If I come across any available plants I will let you know!! Thanks for your interest

No problem at all Ben, I would be doing the same, it "always" worth trying though eh, amazing what you get when you just keep goin :)

Bejoufs are "great Palms, Mark Daish rates them "better than Lemurs, I can cerftainly see why and pretty much agree

I have a few that need a small excavator to dig out and "re zone" their speas are a good 5mtrs, I will focus on that next Spring

All best Pete

The garden is really coming along nicely Ben. So when do you move to a more 'suitably sized' garden? :)

It would be great to get an ID on the palm that has been getting around as Dypsis 'bejouf' or 'Bijouf' or 'bijofa' (have seen these various names tagged on it over the years.)

Whatever it is , it is a big fella...

Nice hookeri leaf too...
