Since there have been a number of requests for photos in the Dypsis hovomantsina thread, and not wanting to go off topic there, here's a photo of the C. cerifera (Previousy Moratia cerifera). Photo taken at Floribunda Palms yesterday, June 14, 2012.

Love this palm. As I mentioned in the hovo thread, that is in my opinion the most beautiful palm in New Cal and one of the most beautiful palms in the world.

Thanks Bo, for the stunning pic..I feel "very privileged" to have both Cyphokentias growing here.. These are "Very Beautiful Palms"....Jeff and Mine are of the very same batch in the very early 90s ( thanks to Jeff, Maria and John Lyles journeys to New C back then ) incredible how much taller Jeffs is but that is to be expected because of the incredible year round rainfall and warm weather at Jeffs. and the Big island.....ours are finally trunking... Jeff recently told me of sadly loosing 1 of his 2 Cyphokentia macrostachya to a bad grub on the Big Island. Very much looking fwd to waliking very slowly through Jeffs gardens next year. I look fwd to more pics Bo and Kim..All Best. Pete :)
