Mauritia flexuosa from seed

I planted four large ones that I had grown from seed. I planted them in my new highland garden and they have all died one by one.I cannot imagine what is happening. My climate is very similar to upland Hawaii .Maybe it is just too cool??? My last one is a pathetic anemic lime green. It has had everything I can give it too thrive. My soil is deep black loam with a nice leaf mulch. All my other palms grow incredibly well. It is in prime palm realestate and I have been thinking of putting it out of its misery and planting a very large lipstick in its place.

My remaining one is also in an area where other palms grow well without assistance and is also more of a lime color than it was when I planted it.

It has never gotten fertilized (yet) and is in more shade than it might like so I thought those were the reasons. However if you see the same thing, maybe there's another issue. I hope to try a couple more so I'd appreciate any culture tips as well.

I planted my four in different areas. In shade, partial sun and full sun. They were also planted in low areas, on top of a hill etc.Mine got fertilised at least every two months. They had been doing fine in pots at my former home . My last survivor has been planted for two years now.

El Oasis - beach garden, distinct wet/dry season ,year round 20-38c

Las Heliconias - jungle garden ,800m elevation,150+ inches rainfall, year round 15-28c

I have a lot of parrots and I would like to try to grow them in large 60l tubs. I live in Denmark and due to cold weather during winter, I will have to be able to take them in during winter.

I have found a place to purchase the seeds in the us, but would like to know if you had any success in growing them in Spain? And do you know a place in the EU, where I am able to buy seeds, as the tax and customs expenses will make the seeds twice as expensive.
