Kathy
I noticed in Jeff from Tampa/Costa Rica's thread announcing his move that I could not edit my typo, that I instead had the "quote" feature pop up instead of the edit feature. I double checked by doing a "post preview" and I definately get a quote and new post, and not an edit of my original post. Yet Ray/Tampa was able to edit his post in the same thread. I also tried clicking to the far left (and far right) of the "edit" tab to see if it was place sensitive for my cursor. It was not. Are others seeing trouble with the edit feature? I've noticed it before but was in a hurry so didn't follow-up. Moderator, any ideas? Thanks. San Francisco Bay Area, California Zone 10a
bgl
I used the edit feature a few times over the last several days (but not today), and havn't had any difficulties. Zac in NC
I haven't had issues with the edit feature recently and I used it yesterday and the day before. I am editing this and adding this sentence after FattyB's issues. PALM MOD
FYI for everyone --- Topics can not be edited or deleted. Only your own posts can be deleted or edited. So when starting a topic be extra careful. However, if a mistake is made, PM me and I can fix it. Thanks to those of you who help make this a fun and friendly forum. MattyB
I was able to edit on the main forum with no problem so I'm wondering if it's just this forum. Dypsisdean
Well, I can see there is a problem here. Although I am at a loss of how to explain it, and therefore how to fix it. I'll keep checking. Edit: Well now I am able to edit, although nothing has been changed so I'm not sure if anything is really fixed. Please notify me if you continue to experience and editing problem. Kona, on The Big Island Hawaii - Land of Volcanoes
