Here's a little Dypsis I bought last year as D.procera...I think that was completely wrong!

This palm is only about 25cm or 10 inches tall and is flowering (you can see the inflorescence on top of one of the leaves..)

Anybody care to identify it?

Is this an Aprils fools at the wrong time? Or someone bored with the rain??.... :blink: hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm is it REAL. :huh:

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

The small stuff is so hard to identify. This could also be Dypsis procera var. transiens, or at least the plant going around as it here in Socal.

OK Sorry Daryl... I haven't got many of the tiny ones yet, so not sure... should prove interesting as there are plenty of Dypsis out there! Many unnamed as I'm sure you know.
