I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

Priviett Serj.....you gotta have one of the most challenging climates on PalmTalk. Do you also have inside as well?

Hi Serj

I remember you asking about your climate a couple of years ago. I was in Budapest at the time and knew you had a good chance as there were a lot of trachys there.

in your climate I would also try med fan palm. They seem to handle some ridiculous extremes in Europe and grow nice clumps that provide self-protection. Find the Morrocon ones from the mountains they don't seem to care if they get covered in ice.

Congrats on your efforts so far!
