Roger Clemens

Roger should heed the lyrics typed below (in green). He was a great ball player as was Barry Bonds (and Pete Rose)but their arrogance overshadows clear thinking. Unfortunately you have to be self centered to be a successful athlete.

The weight of lies will bring you down / And follow you to every town / Cause nothin happens here

That doesn't happen there / So when you run make sure you run / To something and not away from

Cause lies don't need an aero plane / To chase you anywhere

--Avett Bros

I'm shocked to hear he lied to Congress. Shocked.

In respect of his former trainer, I think Clemens made the classic mistake of confusing the ethics of morality..

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" - not, .."as they would do to you"!

Pedro, I will know you have finally gotten off those roids when you quit kicking your dog.

What you look for is what is looking

Clemens is not guilty yet. Although it would appear that someone is lying. either Clemens or the trainer has the facts wrong. just sayin'.

Kent in Kansas.

Gowing palm trees in the middle of the country - Kansas.

It's hot in the summer (usually) and cold in the winter (always).

I heard that in California they were voting this November to legalize that stuff anyway.

It musta been in the vitamins.

"If you need me, I'll be outside" -Randy Wiesner Palm Beach County, Florida Zone 10Bish

when he was younger I look a lot like him (in the face) , but not anymore. Maybe he never really knew what he was taking, but come on, a normal body doesn't look like that when he was using.

If convicted I wonder if he'll have to do any jail time?

Would his name be struck off any all time great players listings ? Would he have to give back all the money many poor people paid to see what they thought was a naturally gifted great baseball player ? What will he lose ? Will he gain ? as in book sales ?

Wal- Clemens and all the others will not loose any of their records (I believe), but he will be lumped with all the others in the asterisk era (the juiced era). Baseball as well as all sports is just entertainment so really who cares what they are taking as long as they hit home runs and pitch no-hitters to entertain us. Just sayin'. As to monetary gains from a book deal, if Clemens is convicted of a felony, I believe he, by law, cannot profit from his deeds.

I'm not really a fan of Roger, but has he proven his innocense yet? No!

It appears to be lots of evidence against him. Can he be telling the truth?

Time will indeed tell! What a bloody mess! If guilty, did he think he could get away

with this type of behaviour? Yes!

Its kind of funny some one like Maris gets an astericks by his name for a lousy extra game. He actually held the record longer than the Babe

and these fellows still have the records --
