Sorry Kris should have been more specific, it's a few pix from the International Palm Society Biennial which is held every two years in a different country.

This time it's in the Domenican Republic an island in the Caribbean(one part of the island is Haiti)

Leonel Mera, the organizer has given us little rest, I was zonked out so gave little comment.

Tonight is the big farewell dinner and tomorrow.......the Posttour to CUBA!

The 2008 Biennial will be in Costa Rica!

Charles,

I must have taken a wrong turn on the way to the Biennial.  I ended up in Portugal!

Charles:

Ótimas fotos, thank you...

We can't wait to hear your impressions about the cuban palms in habitat, and see their pictures. Is Carlo Morici also going to Cuba?

Fredocas:

I told you to be careful when booking from that Portuguese airline company... :)  I hope you take another wrong turn on your way back and end up visiting us in Brazil.

Saudações a todos...
