DoomsDave
I tried to add to a topic under the FAQ section, and got message saying that I didn't have permission. First, why? Second, how can I tell by looking at the topic, so I don't waste time typing? Thanks . . . dave Let's keep our forum fun and friendly. Robert Lee Riffle
Dave-- It has always been thus. Can you think of a FAQ section anywhere that is interactive? We don't want a W(ikipedia) In Progress .... DO we? Nor do I want to be in a position where I have to delete some addition for whatever reason and then explain why it was deleted (like "it was inaccurate"). As for knowing in advance that a forum/subject is read only, so it is written; so it is done. What did you want to add to the FAQ? Send it to me (via PM). --bob

The icon off to the left (the little envelope) appears to only say that it's an open topic with no new replies -- not no new replies allowed. Anyway, I understand. I wanted to be sure I wasn't persona non grata for any reason. dave Let's keep our forum fun and friendly.
