has anyone ever been to Jardin Botanico "Esther Pliego de Salinas" in acapulco,mexico?

i will be in acapulco next month but only for 1 day,just wondering if its "do-able" from where

the cruise ships dock.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo are towns just north of Alcapulco. My wife and I stayed a week in Zihua last Sept. Very lush and tropical. Didn't see any gardens but saw lots of nice palms growing here and there. You'll probably stop there also. Make sure you do some tequilla tasting while there. Never been to Alcapulco however so can't speak for it.

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

Did that cruise last year myself and thought about hitting the botanical garden but was diverted by my wife.... we were in port till about 10 pm so it could have been possible. Do take Don's advise and seek some tequila in Zihuatanejo. There is a place called the 'House of Tequila' with ample opportunity to sample the wears. The misses and I stopped at a patio bar called "Rick's" (a block away from House of Tequila) and he had some very smooth tequila. Jv
