I love the pics and thanks for showing but I thought these type of threads belonged in the Travel Log area and this one is about the third one to plonk here in the main section in recent times, I'd say that the Travel log section is out now and all general showing posts go here unless the moderator team is going to intervene, I would like a decison so I know myself next time.

The ratpack and extended ratpack are on tour soon folks and FM 'Newcal' is going to tell you all about that soon, watch this space...

thank you very much for listening.

Wal, I thought about posting it there but I wasn't sure. I did post another thread about the zoo there at the same time I was posting this one here.

Paulito, that's what I was thinking too. I really didn't have to travel to get to a place that is 5 miles from my house. If there weren't any/many palms in my thread I wouldn't post it here.

Hey Shon! Are you talking about the pinnatifrons? If so it's in the walled garden which is right by the mexican garden. Unfortunately, there used to be two of them there but one was lost in the past 6 months.

Lovely pictures Dave.

It`s great to see a perfect Trithrinax schizophylla, a palm we don`t happen to see often in cultivation.

Oh, and that Dinner plate is so nice.......

Thanks Gileno!! I don't think I've ever seen a Trithrinax schizophylla before so it was a very interesting palm for me to see.
