I was at my local nursery the other day and noticed they now have a few different types of Dynamite now out on the market.

This was made for Palms and Citrus. I've been using the one in the green and red cans for quite some time with good results. This looks really nice too...

Dynamite also had a "concentrated" formula of Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salt) that was packaged in the same type of Dynamite container.

Anyone try this?  ???

That's undoubtedly a different Nutricote blend. If you can find a Nutricote dealer anywhere within driving distance, you can buy the same thing in 50-pound bags for only about 4 or 5 times the price of that little container. I buy a 360 day palm blend from Florikan in Sarasota in 50-pound bags for $55.

Yes, Florikan in Sarah's Soda has several new formulas (formulae?) this year.  I don't live close by, so they ship it to me via UPS.  I am going to try the 10-4-14 (Type 360 day release) analysis this year.

Interesting.  I use the green can of Dynamite religously on all my potted palms.  I'll have to look for this one.  I wonder what's the difference.  The green can already has all the micros.  What's the analysis on this one?

Matt,

I took a picture of the back but it didn't come out good enough to post.

I remember it had more Magnesium and Manganese than the green or red can.

This yellow can is 13-5-11. I will look for the detailed info and post here.

Here is the info, I just ordered a 50lb bag and the shipping was more than half the cost of the fert :(

Thanks Michael.

I guess Florikan makes Dynamite.  The lable you've posted matches the info for the yellow bottle of Dynamite which is 13-5-11 w/ micros, 9 mo.

The green bottle is 18-6-8 w/ micros, 9 mo.

I've never burned anything using tons of the green bottle, and I've never had any potassium or any other deficiency problems, so I'll stick with it for the extra nitrogen for younger potted plants.

Yeah, I've been using the green stuff with no problems, but figured I'd change it up a bit.

I guess I'll boost my mix with a bit more N using some Bloodmeal...
