tropicbreeze 788 Report post Posted November 26, 2011 Zig, Where are you in relation to Noonamah dot on the radar? You definitely get more rain than me most of the time. Scott bought a place in a rain shadow!!!! Last night was SO FRUSTRATING... Regards, Ari Ari, my place is right at the top tip of the pointy part of the N (east of Noonamah CBD ). October total was 66.0mm, so far for November it's 226.8mm. My averages are 53.8mm and 139.7 respectively. You need Scott to move your gauge out from under those palms. Looks like the water table never dropped to it's usual dry season levels. My dam is about two thirds full now, my creek's flowing and hollows in my swamp have water in them. That doesn't usually happen until later in December. Took a break from working this morning to have a dip in the creek (before the 3 metre croc moves in to reclaim his wet season territory ). Tyrone 2,763 Report post Posted November 27, 2011 Kind of cool here now. We're in that transition period between consistent heat and the odd blast from the south. Mid twenties during the day and mid teens at night, with strong sea breezes in the afternoon and blowy easterlies in the morning. My garden's a trash heap with all the debris that's come out the canopy and all the palm fronds shed in the warm weather we've had. Tyrone
