Anyone is allowed to list sought after items (start topics) in this forum. Inquiries will be removed 60 days after the original posting unless otherwise requested.
Please remember that only IPS Members can offer palms and plants for sale. And please do not suggest a vendor unless you are certain they are an IPS Member.
The IPS provides this subforum as a courtesy to all those interested in palms. When discussing new acquisitions, deals, or availability of palms/plants, please refrain from mentioning the names of Big Box stores, nurseries, or other outlets that are not IPS Members. Third parties will be permitted to mention the source, price, or availability of plants, seeds, or garden related products in the course of normal Forum discussions if directly acquired from or offered by IPS Members only. Promotional intent or language by third parties should be avoided.
You agree that by participating in the "Palm Exchange" or otherwise engaging in commerce facilitated by Palm Talk you shall not violate any applicable local, state. federal, or international law or regulation and you are not a party or subject to or bound by any law of any jurisdiction, court or governmental body that is likely to adversely affect any agreements or transactions in which you engage as a result of your participation in Palm Talk.
By using Palm Talk, including the Palm Exchange, you agree to be responsible for, indemnify, defend and hold the International Palm Society, its Directiors, Officers, Moderators of Palm Talk, and other participants in Palm Talk harmless from and with respect to: (i) any and all Losses related to or arising directly or indirectly out of your participation in Palm Talk and (ii) any and all Losses resulting directly or indirectly from your failure to comply with applicable laws, regulations or international treaty obligations. Had one for 2 1/2 years that I had planted in the backyard, but was in medium to heavy shade (this was before I had started planting out my front, and that's the room I had at the time.). Though about moving it several times, just never did (mistake). All the rain we had over the summer coupled with the shade started it on a decline. I had to yank it out over the weekend. I need a replacement now. This one is going in the front yard in full sun & well drained sandy soil. The one I had was about 3ft. tall. I would like to replace it with similar size or larger.
