I've been at it again....          I did it almost 450 times....                    I know I shouldn't....            It's not my fault... I  just... can't... stop.

There is only one cure, but it only comes every 20 or 30 years or more.  It is called the "Arctic Express."  After it comes, you will be cured, but also be left a "broken man."

In my post I sometimes express "my" opinion. Warning, it may differ from "your" opinion. If so, please do not feel insulted, just state your own if you wish. Any data in this post is provided 'as is' and in no event shall I be liable for any damages, including, without limitation, damages resulting from accuracy or lack thereof, insult, or any other damages

HOw did you make those plant tags?

The addiction to palms is fine,  IMO just dont expect anyone else to undertand you or love the look of palms or see any value in propagating them,  its really something you do for the love of it.  But a word of caution,  when your palm collectiom reaches its moment of glory, and you reluctantly decide to sell your property,  the next owner  mos likely will do one of 3 things:

Clear the land  and plant the type of garden in fashion at the time,  clear the land  and biuld a condo or megahouse,  or just let them die.

That's about correct Chris, oh by the way, I'm in Melbourne for the weekend, going to my nephews 30th birthday party. Hope the weather follows me down, looks like it will.

Happy Gardening

Bill, I'm germinating my palms in the exact same containers as you. I have no aquarium so I incubate some of my containers on a heating pad set on low (but only when someone is home). Other containers I set across crocks/bowls filled with hot water I run through my coffee maker.

And I, too, want to know where you get your ID markers. Happy palms to you.

Chambey's just get planted in pots outdoors...  I haven't found they need bottom heat.  Currently I am germinating some sp. that need hotter conditions to facilitate germination, hence the desirability of the germinator.

I've managed to restrain myself a bit.

Look at Kris!

We should take up a collection and get him a few hectares somewhere, but I don't think it's to be found anywhere in India.

Gene,

Calling this a "support group"....that's a good one!! :D

Support groups and so called "12 step programs" of course exist to get people OUT OF TROUBLE! Our goal here - without exception - is to get people deeper INTO trouble! :P  And when some falls as hard and fast as Bill (Piouspalms), we're all cheering like crazy! :D

William,  your looking at it all wrong.   You could be a meth addict, thats bad.  Palms are good. see.

I am sorry if I offended any meth addicts,  that was not my intention.   I was trying to show William that there are worse addictions than palms and used methheads as an example to make my point.    If you are a meth addict, you need to quit reading this forum and check yourself into a rehab center, quickly.

As for you William, enjoy your freedom.
