found 2 other tropical palms in Orlando

here are 2 other nice palms I drive by on a regular basis.

The first is a Carpentaria acuminata that has been growing for several years, it survived 27F back in 01/03. For scale, the top of the hedge at the bottom of the photo is about 6ft.

The other is a Caryota, maybe rumphiana, that is getting very tall. Sorry about the image, I had to take it thru a fence and into the sun;
