I started grooming Mr. Ravenea by pulling off the spent inflorescences, but changed my mind halfway through to take the picture in the OP.

Here’s the “groomed” side view.

That’s a nice one. I was actually working under my one today planting a Joey, as you can see the trunk and the spent flower.
