My mature male (I think) Ravenea glauca tried to aid in reproduction and is now kinda spent, till next time around.

Those inflorescences are kinda cool looking.

    I started grooming Mr. Ravenea by pulling off the spent inflorescences, but changed my mind halfway through to take the picture in the OP.

    Here’s the “groomed” side view.
