My betelnut, which is about 6 feet tall and has been in the ground 2 years, took 33 degrees and isn't showing any signs of damage. Kind of surprised me.

Yes...these are hardier than normally thought.

I had a real beaut in my yard....until I killed it with Christmas lights last year :(

Yeah Larry, no mention of the Christmas light contest from you this year!!!  :laugh:

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.
