Hi, I'm trying to identify what I'm fairly sure is a Brahea of unknown species.

It's about 12 feet (3 metres) to the crown, and has a trunk which is only partly clean (not to the ground) is patchy and somewhat ragged looking.  It holds on to its flowers  pretty tightly long after they are past. Drought tolerant, growing in Santa Barbara, CA.

Thanks in advance!

I think a Brahea that height would have thicker petioles. Barbs like a hacksaw would lean towards Trachycarpus.
