My biggest Hedyscepe canterburyana that I grew from seed from the beauty in pogobob old garden is finally setting seed.

Oooooh lucky you!! I reckon the seed aborted because Tim looked at them and they just freaked out scared he was going to take them to Hawaii, where they would cook in that tropical paradise!

You're a cruel and heartless man Tim.

South Arm, Tasmania, Australia - 42° South

Mild oceanic climate, with coastal exposure.

Summer: 12°C (53°F) average min, to 21°C (70°F) average daily max. Up to 40°C (104°F max) rarely.

Winter: 6°C (43°F) average min, to 13°C (55°F) average daily max. Down to 0°C (32°F) occasionally, some light frost.

Excellent news @Tassie_Troy1971 - hopefully your Lepidorrachis will follow suit shortly!

Any germination from the NZ sourced Hedyscepe seeds yet?

One palm that has eluded me over the years, I finally got my little cultivation fingers on a few. One in the garden so far.
Maybe just maybe if I look at at enough in twenty years time it will be up there with Troy’s, I said maybe!
