This may sound crazy, but......

My eMail program produces a sound when I get new mail.

Is it possable that this program could do the same w/a new post, or would that drive us all crazy?

Sometimes I'm reading something and when done go on to another program.  If notified of a new post I just might come back to look at it.

RSS is a popular protocol to do this kind of thing. The Palmtalk software may need to be updated to support it though.
