This time knocking of all of my weeping form dypsis onilihanses seeds the mongrels! Some look good to go so I will give them a shot and share the rest with those two climate palm growers south of the border @tim_brissy_13 and his accomplice in the realms of somewhere near a island in Antarctica they call Tasmania can have a few seeds! Good luck guys!! That is in the winter coming up!

    Well at least you saved some from destruction! Hopefully they will still sprout. Harry

    Get some peppermint oil spray from Home Depot!!   It works perfectly against all rats and mice as well as squirrels and crows.  I've used it for years and it always stops the most persistent packrats!!  Not toxic to any animal and doesn't affect the plant you apply it to.

    Good to know!  ☺️  Do you think it would deter rabbits as well?  I have a couple of rabbits munching on juvenile palms and I am tired of putting up fence around them!

    No worries I will give it a go, iam sure the wife’s essential oils will get raided for that one treatment, it’s either that or a foot bath with the peppermint oil!

    You need to breed up a few pythons and tree snakes.

    I wonder what's worse for those poor little seeds...being munched by varmints or sent to Antarctica? Time will tell!

    As soon as the cat passes on, shes 19 and heaven forbid if a snake gets her now, then let the snakes breed up. The traps are set with pumpkin seeds for now ready for the onslaught!

    It’s rat food or live in a freezer, I think the palm gods have spoken. The refrigerator it is!!!!

    Your welcome, you got me on those  ones, they will live in a refrigerator!  
    One palm I dont think will grow for me.

    It might.  It also works on rattlesnakes.  They turn around and leave before entering the greenhouse or the garage.

    I just talked with someone from the company that produces "Mighty Mint" products and they told me it also works on rabbits and squirrels!  Thanks for the tip Gene!  😊
